In the year 2003 Mike (SONS OF THUNDER) and Björn started out to record some songs together back at Björns place. Mike and Björn is old friends and after a long time not seeing eachother that often they hit it one more time. After lots of laughter, PS2 games and truckloads of coca cola, 10 songs were recorded. The Weinesjös from VENI DOMINE joined us to record drums and some guitar solos. HERO released the album "Bless this nation" on the self owned reordlabel GOOD NEWS MUSIC in march 2006. But the band, who wasn't actually a band until recently when Marcus Lanfjäll - Guitar, Mikael Eklund - Guitar and Johan Adler - Keybords joined the band.

HERO will be a six man strong band, that will do an "IRON MAIDEN"  with 3 guitars and lots of choirs and stuff. The band are right writing new material, rehersal for the upcoming gigs. HERO is a part of FROSTIC booking managment from Örebro, SWEDEN. HERO is also endorsed by INDIE Guitars.
