 Here's the new CD cover for the next album called: "IMMORTAL"
We are now happy to let you know that HERO has a new Line up. The old rock generals Michael and Björn has recruited some young rock soliders to form the band. Mikael Eklund- Guitar, Vocals Marcus Lannfjäll- Guitar, vocals Johan Adler- Keyboards. The good friends Weinesjös has left the building and we wish them all the best in the future with Veni Domine and Thorb.
We are also happy to be a part of the new booking Managment, FROSTIC (www.frostic.se)
Hello folks, we have a new guestbook so now you can sign and let us know who you are. Hopefully you can soon see HERO on stage.
Torbjörn and Tomas has left the band, and you will soon know who's gonna replace these guys. Stay tuned for more news.
Whooaaa what happened! It's a month since I've updated the news the last time. Does it mean that we don't have any news? Yes and no. There are small things happening all the time both positive and negative, and belive me, we are working really hard in making contacts and promoting the band. But with full time jobs and families the amount of time is limited. Anybody knows a good manager? Anyway, it's good to know we're not doing this for fame and fortune. We just want to give back to the one that blessed us in so many ways.
Time really flies when you have a lot of things to do. We're working hard with connecting with distributors, sending out CD:s for reviews and of course trying to make sure that everyone that has ordered a copy will recive it. We are confident that the right doors will be opened because it's not in our hands. We are just honored of being a part of a much bigger ball game and maybe you hold an important key to one of the doors. Tips on distributors, clubs/consert venues etc will be greatly appriciated. We're in this together! The long awaited (at least by us) album "Bless this nation" is finally here! It will be distributed in Sweden through Naxos Sweden. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly we had some problems with the printing of the cover for the CD. Anybody heard of "vector graphics"??? We will hopefully recieve the CD:s this week.
Tour and Merchandise is updated. Clips from all the songs are up in the music section!
Tomorrow, Friday Januari 27 2006, Mike and Bjorn are heading to Cutting Room Stockholm for the mastering of the CD. So hopefully on monday the CD will go to print. We will then be able to start to ship the CD within two weeks. Please start to ask for it in your local record store. In the early morning of the 5:th we had an exiting game of "Risk" going down at the Sundströms place. But it turned out that Mike forgot to bring out his heavy artillery and Björn ended up as "world conqurer" after an surprisingly quick game.

New CD soon availble. HERO's debutalbum is called "Bless This Nation" and will feature 10 songs. Strong melodies and a modern sound of groovy hardrock, will hit your ears. The album will be released on the independent label GOOD NEWS MUSIC in January 2006. |
